Full Moon in Sagittarius

Full Moon in Sagittarius Affirmations:

I see the bigger picture.

This is not an undoing.

I am becoming.

I am inspired.

I am clear in my vision.

I explore life with all senses.

I trust that I am exactly where I need to be.

This Full Moon in Sagittarius is asking us - if you keep your mind open to what's best instead of what's next, what do you see?

Sagittarius is the learned healer. A mutable fire sign that emphasizes assertion, drive, willpower, as well as adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness. And this full moon is asking us all to look at the bigger picture. Represented as the archer, Sagittarius energy never fails to hit the mark. This energy is a reminder to step back to see the target, the further away you stand, the wider the perspective.

It's hard to know where to go if you don't know where you're starting from.

This full moon is about action, not talk. A little bit about going deeper within, but also about cultivating excitement for the trip. This is about having fun on the journey as you sail in to the unknown. Leaning in to big ideas without fretting over the details. Perfectionism is not needed or welcome. This is about the journey, the adventure, the wisdom and rewards we find in experience.

Sagittarius energy is about seeking answers in places and spaces that are often overlooked. Adventures stimulate the brain the same way rewards do. They build up our bravery, are an opportunity to grow and learn, and expand the way we see and interact with the world. In doing so we are gathering knowledge, like the learned healer.

The full moon in general is a time to release pent up energy, the past, things that are weighing you down, and offer forgiveness to others and especially yourself. It is a process and sometimes takes many moons to truly move through. Forgive it. Sit in silence for a moment. Let all the negativity you have toward these problems drain away by forgiving the situation or person (even if it’s you) and give yourself and the Universe/higher power/religious figure/guides/etc. gratitude and thanks for being there. Just let it go and step back. You don't need to bring all of it with you.

If you're struggling to see the bigger picture:

Focus on your purpose. What is the overarching thing that moves and motivates you?

Think about other perspectives and parallel factors.

How can your knowledge help you proceed?

Ask yourself the tough questions.

Use a mind map.

A mind map involves writing down a central theme and thinking of new and related ideas which radiate out from the center. By focusing on key ideas written down in your own words and looking for connections between them, you can map knowledge in a way that will help you to better understand the bigger picture. You can read more about them here.
